1. Which students are currently offered provision:
  • Students not accessing mainstream education.
  • Excluded or at risk of exclusion.
  • Suffering physical or mental health conditions.
  • Poor school attendance/refusing to attend school.
  • Dealing with challenging life circumstances.
  • Medical Needs
  • Home school
Sunnyside Hub will treat every referral on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the provision on offer is suitable for the individual/group

3. Pastoral Support:
  • 1:1 and small group sessions (maximum 6)
  • Delivery by fully qualified teachers
  • Mindfulness interventions
  • SEAL skills to support social & emotional needs
  • Pastoral support plan for every individual
  • Liaison with other childcare professionals
4. Expected Outcomes:
  • Progress within core academic learning
  • Completion of at least one award/qualification
  • Improvement within Skills Builder Framework (employability skills)
  • Engagement in education leading to re-integration into mainstream school
  • Positive changes in attitude to learning, motivation, confidence and self-esteem
Our focus is to provide individuals with a positive experience that combines academic achievement with soft skill development to give them the best chance of success in their future lives. We aim to engage with every child to ensure that they achieve to the best of their ability.

5. Cost of Alternative provision sessions:
  • £65.00 per hour (1:1 session)
  • 3 hour sessions available
  • Monday - Friday
